Survived By Loss is a podcast providing a voice in the dark, where we hear stories about erasing the gray and ending cycles! I am Hailee and I will be your host! In this episode I read a letter I wrote to my dad after he took his own life. As I share my thoughts, I confront my grief and anger, while also trying to understand his struggles. Dad lost his own father to suicide, endured an abusive mother, and faced the unimaginable pain of losing my brother the same way. Through this letter, I grapple with the generational trauma and complex emotions that have shaped our family, hoping to find some sense of peace and understanding.
